WCHA Releases Men's Composite Schedule for 2008-09 Campaign

The Western Collegiate Hockey Association, owning a record 36 NCAA Frozen Four titles since it's founding in 1951 and coming off a season that saw the league earn a conference record six berths in the national tournament and have seven of it's 10 member teams ranked among the nation's best in the final national polls, today released it's 2008-09 men's composite schedule, highlighted by the appearance of the annual Red BaronTM WCHA Final Five at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., next March 19-21.

CC assistant Bazin takes head coaching job at Hamilton

After eight successful seasons as an assistant coach at Colorado College, Norm Bazin is moving on. Bazin, who has helped Scott Owens and the Tigers claim three WCHA championships since joining the CC staff in 2000, has been named head coach at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.

U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team Falls to Canada, 4-3, in OT Team USA 0-1-1-1 in Under-22 Series

Bemidji State women's hockey coach Steve Sertich was an assistant coach for the U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team that fell to Canada, 4-3, in overtime Saturday in the final game of the 2008 Women's Under-22 Series. The Americans finished with a 0-1-1-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record in the three-game series.

Bemidji State, Wisconsin to Hook Up in First Ever Women's U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game Oct. 18
